Saturday afternoon while most of the country celebrated the 4th of July, I was in Maryville, TN second shooting and celebrating the marriage of Heather and Ben alongside the always fun and amazing Katie Stinnett (you may remember Katie from a shoot a did a few months ago, click here to see those pics).  Here are a few of my captures from the day. Congratulations Heather and Ben! And thank you Katie for asking me to second shoot with you, I had a blast!

After the ceremony, we headed over to the Capitol Theatre for the reception. What a cool little venue for a wedding reception. And yes, Ben & Heather’s last name is Love…how cool is that!

Last month while I was in Maryland, I got to second shoot alongside one of my favorite photographers (and friends), Jaime Windon also known as the blonde photographer. We headed up to Baltimore early Saturday afternoon to meet up with Rita and Patrick at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. Rita and Patrick requested that we not take any getting ready photos, so we jumped right into the day with a first sight. After a few joyful tears and lots of hugs, we headed out to take pictures at a few of Rita & Patrick’s favorite spots in Baltimore. When we were done shooting around town, we headed  over to the Baltimore Museum of Industry for an intimate ceremony overlooking the Inner Harbor and a fantastic reception moved by the music of the Diablo Sandwich Band! You know with a name like that, they had to be good!

Thank you Rita and Patrick for allowing me to share this special day with you. Congratulations!!! And a HUGE thank you for Jaime Windon for letting me shoot alongside her…it is always a pleasure!

This past Saturday evening, I had the pleasure of joining Kristen and Todd and their closest family members and friends for an intimate wedding overlooking the Tennessee River. Kristen and Todd wanted a simple yet fun wedding and I think they (with the help of their fantastic family members) pulled it off flawlessly. Here are a few images from their special night! Last weekend, I made my way back up to Maryland to join the rest of the fabulous gals that make up the blonde creative (Jaime Windon, Mk McKenna, & Quinn Peyser) to help photograph Honfest 2009! What is Honfest, you ask? HonFest is a local tradition in Baltimore. A Bawlmer (Baltimore for those of you that do not live in Maryland) term of endearment, Hon, short for Honey, embodies the warmth and affection bestowed upon our neighbors and visitors alike by historic working-women of Baltimore. HonFest is an annual celebration in honor of these women. The festival was created by Denise Whiting, owner of Cafe Hon and is definitely a highly anticipated event in the Hampden neighborhood in Bawlmer. People came from all over to attend this event, myself included! Here are a few of the images I was able to capture. Most of these are from the first day during the Lil Miss Hon and the Miss Honettes competitions!
