Most weekends we have a big breakfast on Sunday but this morning I had an eight am shoot, so we had to move our big breakfast up a day. Normally, the kids like to veg out and watch some tv while John and I cook but Saturday morning they all wanted to help…the kitchen was a disaster but the pancakes were delicious. Nothing like some chocolate smiley face pancakes to get you moving on a Saturday morning!!
Yes that is a Bisquick bag…I am a cheater! I have already admitted to being the world’s worst cook:)
Eggs! Reece tried to steal our egg. He grabbed it and took off running, I was afraid it was going to end up on the couch but we got it back to the kitchen safely!

This happens every weekend. Reece climbs up into Cade’s chair and tries to eat his food (this weekend he caught an elbow to the cheek)…
and then Cade taunts him with the food…
…and then Reece asks for a bite of mine.
And if all of that wasn’t enough to wake me up, I always have my hot cup of tea:) Look at that perfect steam swirl!!

I am surprised Reece didn’t try to eat the egg!!! I love the pictures!!! It’s okay you cheated with the pancakes I love that you let the monkeys help and aren’t afraid of a little mess. Of course your monkeys know how to clean up their messes, most of the time;)
