Two weeks ago I headed over to Mrs. Devon’s house to photograph her brand new baby boy, Mitchell. Mrs. Devon used to watch my kids, so it was quite a nice change to head over to her house to visit with her and Mitchell. I think I tried a million and one different things on this baby and I now have the deepest respect for women that solely photograph newborns in a studio. It is harder than it looks!! Here is what I was able to capture. Devon thank you for having me, this little guy is so cute and I know that you and James are so happy that he is finally here! Congrats!

Carrie & Landon – Wild as a Mink but Sweet as Soda Pop…

Two weeks ago Carrie and Landon were married at the Graystone Presbyterian church near downtown Knoxville. When I met these two earlier this year in Savannah, I instantly fell in love with them. They are fun, easy going and completely in love. It poured during their entire engagement session (which can be seen here) and I thought we were headed for more of the same on their wedding day. Fortunately, mother nature smiled upon these two and gave them blue skies for most of the day. Carrie & Landon I have thoroughly enjoyed the time that I have spent with the two of you! I wish you both a lifetime of laughter and love… I am 100 percent sure there will never be a shortage of either in your house. Enjoy and Congratulations!!

Carrie has the biggest, most infectious smile. I love this shot!

One of the junior bridesmaids kept putting Carrie’s shoes on, which was very cute!

Carrie and Landon decided to do a first site, which allowed me to grab a few quick pictures of just the 2 of them alone. Please notice the stained glass window behind them, see no evil, hear no evil, speak kiss no evil. I didn’t realize this until after I had already taken this shot. haha

After a quick bubble send off, we all headed over to Calhoun’s on the river for a night of dinner, dancing and ALOT of singing!

We headed over to Volunteer Landing for a few quick shots while the rest of the wedding guests arrived at the reception. I LOVE this tree and this picture.

This was the last shot I took with my 16mm before sending it crashing to the ground. Luckily, Canon was able to fix it:)

Knoxville Track Club!

Good Old Rocky Top, WHEW! Rocky top Tennessee!!

Cotton Eyed Joe!

Carrie’s dad is not only one heck of a dancer but he sings too! The picture below is Carrie’s reaction to her dad singing to her!

After her dad was done singing, the guys serenaded Carrie. You’ve lost that loving feeling!

I know who made the moonshine too, back where I come from…

The End!

A few weeks ago, my old college roommate and her son came to Knoxville to spend the weekend with my family. Tilman just turned one last week and what better way to celebrate than having your picture taken on a tractor:) Thank you Wombat and Tilman for coming to visit, you know I always enjoy your visits and wish you lived closer. Enjoy and Happy Birthday Tilman!!

Oh no…It’s the lady with the camera attached to her face again!

Two and a half weeks ago (I know I am WAY behind!!!) I met up with baby David to take his 2 year pictures. We headed over to a friend’s boat in Concord Marina and ended on the farm behind my house. Gotta love a little boy on a tractor:) Enjoy! Thank you Jessie for being so patient!

David smiling after figuring out how to honk the super loud horn. I almost fell off the boat the first time he did it. haha.
