This past weekend, I hit the road once again! Destination: Franklin, TN for a photography workshop with Jeremy Cowart. It has been one crazy year! Since May, I’ve logged over 19,000 (yes you read that right) miles on my car, taken so many photos I cannot even count them on one hard drive and I don’t think I’ve pulled this many all nighters since college! In other words, I had a fever and the only prescription was more cowbell! Enter, Jeremy Cowart’s workshop. The workshop was super laid back which gave me a chance to slow down for a weekend and really evaluate who I am as a photographer and which direction I want to take my photography business. It was a fantastic way to wrap up 2009! Jeremy and the other 20+ photographers in attendance, thank you for sharing your experiences with me. You all definitely help inspire and re-energize me!

More to come!
There really isn’t much to say about Aaron other than WOW!!! He was an amazing model and so unbelievably nice. He was the only model that showed up for our field assignment on Thursday afternoon, so we all had to take turns photographing him. I would have been worn out after hours and hours of posing but he had just as much energy and enthusiasm at the end of the assignment as he did at the beginning. Thank you Aaron for being so awesome:)
All of these pictures were taken at the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah. If you are ever in Savannah, please take the time to visit this museum, it is beautiful!!
Here are a few images I captured in between and during our field exercises:)
This is a new lighting technique I was happy to finally try:) Thank you for being my model Steve!
Towards the end of the week, we had a photo scavenger hunt…here are a few of my images from the hunt:
All in a day’s work.
A sad situation. (It really was- she had a bunch of food in that box under her feet- she was sleeping with her feet on it so no one would take it.)
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. You may remember Russell from my post earlier in the week. He got up on stage a few times with Gabriel Donohue to sing:)
I’ve got my eye on you.
