Last weekend, I got to return to what has become a very special place to me, as I shot my very first wedding ever (alongside the blonde photographer) at this venue a little over a year ago… The Morningside Inn in Frederick, MD. I was so excited to return to the Morningside Inn as I knew it would be the perfect venue for a perfect couple. Bridget and Jeremy are both incredibly sweet, funny, and absolutely, one hundred percent in love. Bridget and Jeremy thank you for allowing me to document the beginning of what I am sure will be a long and happy life of love and laughter. Congratulations!!
I was kind of obsessed with the socks.
Bridget took off running down the hill…very unexpectedly. I was thankful I had my pumas on and did not eat it on the way down the hill. The shot below is one of my favorites from the day, so I guess falling would have been worth it.

Meggie- Bridal Study Part 2

I know what you are thinking…not this tub again. The sad truth is that this may be the most action this tub has seen since Reba & Daniel put it in their house. LOL I know the hand picture is creepy but I just really like it for some reason:)
Meggie said that her husband really likes feet (ok not really- he hates them)…so this picture is for you Adam. Perhaps this would be a good 16 x 20 print for Adam. Hmmm, and Christmas is just right around the corner:)
I experimented with some texture in both of these pictures. I am still trying to
figure the whole texture thing out…perhaps I will get there one day:)

Since I already have a picture of Reba up, I figured I would start with her pictures. We were originally supposed to go to the cemetary to shoot these pictures but we were rained out…which I think worked in our favor because we all got some great pictures! All of the pictures were taken at Reba and Daniel’s house…which is awesome!! Reba was our black dress model and here are her beautiful pictures. Oh la la Reba J!!!
I could not decide if I liked this picture better in color or black and white.

I am so glad I can finally post these pictures! I went along on this bridal shoot with Meggie last month and Sarah and Rusty were finally married yesterday…so I am free to post! All of the pictures were taken at Bleakhouse on Kingston Pike. What a great place to shoot! It is a very beautiful location and Meggie brought along some crazy props: chinese lanterns and bamboo. When we got there Sarah whipped out a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat…I knew it would be an interesting shoot after that. The wild west meets the far east:) LOL It all worked out and we got some great pictures…check Meggie‘s out on her blog. I know I have said this before but all of the pictures posted here were taken by me even though they have Meggie’s copyright on them (this was her bride). Enjoy and Congratulations to Sarah & Rusty!!
Tilt shift + lens flare = Sweet shot!
I wish that I had a picture of Meggie during this series of shots…she was hovering over the pond with me holding her legs so she didn’t fall in…it was hilarious. She is lucky that I like her and that I didn’t want her hair to bleed. haha!!
