Last Sunday, I woke up bright and early and headed downtown to meet up with Bethany & Aaron for a “just because” session. Bethany & Aaron have been married for 5 1/2 years and haven’t really had any pictures taken since their wedding day…so I guess this was a bit of a halfiversary session:) We started at their house, headed over to Old North Knoxville, Downtown Knoxville and we finished up at Ijams Nature Center. Since it was so early we had most of the city to ourselves, which was fantastic. These two were alot of fun. They were up for anything and still very much in love after 5+ years…a perfect combo for great pictures. Bethany and Aaron thank you for getting up so early and spending your Sunday morning with me…I thoroughly enjoyed it!

They said anytime they are outside, the dog peeks out this window to watch them. haha.

I love you dear.

I love the texture on this wall!

Happy Easter everyone!! We headed downtown to attempt family pictures today. We definitely ended up with more laughs than photos… but I am okay with that:)

Reece kept running away from me laughing- so here is his headshot.

I finally had to lay him down to get a picture…the laughter stopped shortly after.

This past weekend, I met up with Kristen & Todd in West Knoxville to take their engagement pictures. I told them at the beginning of the session that the theme for the shoot was “trespassing”. Luckily, we were only asked to leave one location. Thank you Mr. Security guard for not really erasing my pictures!! And thank you Kristen and Todd for letting me drag you all over town. I had such a great time with the two of you! I cannot wait to shoot your wedding in June!

Yesterday afternoon, I headed downtown to help Bryan take his daughter Harper’s 3 year pictures. This was my first time meeting her and I must say she is an absolute doll!! She is also very full of energy, as are most 3 year olds. There was definitely a lot of laughter and thankfully only a few tears and once I stopped crying I was able to get some great shots. Haha! I am kidding of course! Well, without further ado here they are. Enjoy!!
I love this one. Harper put lipstick on all of us…even her toy dinosaurs!

I love this one!

Keaton is 1!! Well 1 year and 1 month to be exact! My travel schedule and the weather have delayed this shoot a few times but everything finally fell into place this past weekend. The weather was perfect and Keaton was in a great mood… well for most of the shoot! I have really enjoyed watching Keaton grow over the last year. It is actually hard to believe it has already been a year! Time really does fly when they are this little!!
Thank you Keaton and Julie for spending your afternoon with me, I had such a great time!
You can see Keaton’s previous sessions here and here.

I love this one!

We started out at Anchor Park but it was much too bright, so we packed Keaton up and headed over to UT gardens to look for some shade. She passed out on the way over.

Blocks. They’re just not for dinner anymore.

I am Keaton. Hear me ROAR!

Another one of my favorites!

This is my favorite shot from their session.

This charm bracelet was a gift from Keaton’s dad. Julie has one to match- very cute!

Heading home!
