Ryan, Nicholas, & Sofia

A few weeks ago while I was in Maryland I stopped over to see my friend Rosanna and her newborn twins, Sofia and Nicholas. These two are absolutely beautiful and I was amazed at how tiny they still were two weeks after being born. My smallest child was 8 pounds, 8 ounces….these two were 5 pounds and change. Three pounds makes a HUGE difference on such a little body! Here are a few pictures I was able to grab of these two. I thought one baby was hard to photograph…two was almost impossible! Thanks for the extra hands Rosanna and Grandma!! I also grabbed a few shots of big brother Ryan, who is also a cute as can be! Congratulations Rosanna and Tim, the kids are beautiful!!

Stacy & Will – Baby on Board

Two weeks ago, I met up with Stacy and Will for an early morning maternity session at Will’s grandmother’s house on Wye Island. You may remember Stacy & Will from their wedding this past summer, you can view that blog post here.  They are expecting their first baby this winter and they couldn’t be happier! These two were absolutely glowing. Stacy and Will I know you two are going to be fantastic parents. I cannot wait to meet William the 6th!

It has been 12 days since Gillian and Mike were married and the smile has yet to leave my face. What a couple and my what a party!! I have rewritten this post at least 8 times now and have finally realized there are no words that I can write that will do this day justice. It was just AMAZING, hands down! Gillian and Mike  thank you a million times over for asking me to be your wedding photographer…I had such a great time documenting your wedding! Congratulations!!

I also feel a special thanks are in order to the tailor that made Mike’s pants…I think he did the splits a total of 3 times and they didn’t rip once! Amen! And of course a HUGE thank you to one of DC’s finest (if not the finest) photographers Jaime Windon aka The Blonde Photographer for  shooting this wedding with me!

Thank you very brave bridal party for getting up on that wall…you all are awesome!!

A surprise proposal?? No, just friends but it made for a good picture;)

Possibly my favorite shot of the day. Mike kept twirling his ring, taking it off, putting it on… I was able to grab this shadow shot of him putting it back on. This shot was not set up, could be why I love it so much!
