Two weeks ago, I headed back up north to shoot Trish & Tal’s wedding at the beautiful Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, VA. It was freezing outside and rainy but Trish and Tal didn’t let that ruin one minute of their wedding day. Thank you Trish and Tal for asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was an honor to shoot your wedding!! And a huge thank you to my favorite Blonde Photographer, Jaime Windon, for shooting this wedding with me!

Last month I had the pleasure of shooting alongside one of my favorite photogs and one of my best buds, Jaime Windon aka The Blonde Photographer. Lian and Mark’s wedding was one for the record books, it was an unbelievable day from start to finish. As I usually do, I will let the pictures do the talking… they tell quite a story! Thank you Lian & Mark for letting me be a part of such an amazing day! Congratulations!
Mark is a DJ. I loved his turntable cake!

I am pretty sure all 4 things mentioned in the title of this post were accomplished two weeks ago when Kendrah and Karlis tied the knot at the beautiful Potomac Point Winery in Stafford, VA. Kendrah and Karlis’ wedding wrapped up my first season as a wedding photographer, and I don’t think I could have ended on a higher note. These two are amazing, their friends and family are amazing and this wedding was nothing short of amazing as well. Kendrah and Karlis thank you for inviting me into your lives and for allowing me to document such an important day. Congrats!
A HUGE thank you to Jaime Windon aka The Blonde Photographer for second shooting with me. I always have a great time when you are with me!
The cutest ring boxes ever!
The cutest flower girl ever.
It took an army to button all of the buttons on Kendrah’s dress. I think she was just thankful they were all there, someone stole all of the buttons off of her dress while it was still in the bridal shop!
It’s go time!
I love this shot! Grandma waiting for the bride;)
Awesome cake topper by Kelly of Kelly’s Clay Creations! Check out her site here!
Awesome cake eating. haha.
A little grape stomping!
Kendrah and Karlis were just about to eat dinner and I said just one more shot, the sky is amazing. Without hesitation they dropped their forks and ran outside. Thanks again for doing that you two. This is one of my favorites!

Terps Cornhole Board: $100
Huffy Beach Cruiser: $84
12 pack of Heineken for Party Bus: $15.99
Seeing Mike D. do the splits on the dance floor: Priceless
It has been 12 days since Gillian and Mike were married and the smile has yet to leave my face. What a couple and my what a party!! I have rewritten this post at least 8 times now and have finally realized there are no words that I can write that will do this day justice. It was just AMAZING, hands down! Gillian and Mike thank you a million times over for asking me to be your wedding photographer…I had such a great time documenting your wedding! Congratulations!!
I also feel a special thanks are in order to the tailor that made Mike’s pants…I think he did the splits a total of 3 times and they didn’t rip once! Amen! And of course a HUGE thank you to one of DC’s finest (if not the finest) photographers Jaime Windon aka The Blonde Photographer for shooting this wedding with me!
Thank you very brave bridal party for getting up on that wall…you all are awesome!!
I love this shot. haha.
Mike thought it was so cool that Gillian’s ring fit inside of his. This ring shot is for you Mike.
A surprise proposal?? No, just friends but it made for a good picture;)
Possibly my favorite shot of the day. Mike kept twirling his ring, taking it off, putting it on… I was able to grab this shadow shot of him putting it back on. This shot was not set up, could be why I love it so much!
First dance…soon to be followed by one of the craziest dance floors I have ever been witness to.
He may have had the skins mask on but the real MVP at this party was Katie.

Last month while I was in Maryland, I got to second shoot alongside one of my favorite photographers (and friends), Jaime Windon also known as the blonde photographer. We headed up to Baltimore early Saturday afternoon to meet up with Rita and Patrick at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. Rita and Patrick requested that we not take any getting ready photos, so we jumped right into the day with a first sight. After a few joyful tears and lots of hugs, we headed out to take pictures at a few of Rita & Patrick’s favorite spots in Baltimore. When we were done shooting around town, we headed over to the Baltimore Museum of Industry for an intimate ceremony overlooking the Inner Harbor and a fantastic reception moved by the music of the Diablo Sandwich Band! You know with a name like that, they had to be good!
Thank you Rita and Patrick for allowing me to share this special day with you. Congratulations!!! And a HUGE thank you for Jaime Windon for letting me shoot alongside her…it is always a pleasure!
