This past weekend, I headed down to Atlanta to second shoot Megan & Jason’s Jewish-Catholic wedding ceremony along side the very talented Bryan Allen (make sure you check out his site if you have not already). I had such a great time! I learned a few new photography tricks, met a ton of new, interesting, and funny people, and learned which parts of downtown Atlanta to stay away from at 1am… that is a story for a different time! I spent most of the afternoon hanging out with the guys, but I was able to snag a few shots of Megan getting ready. I didn’t get to see her again until she was in her dress getting off of the bus to head into the church. She looked so beautiful and so happy! Exactly, the way a bride should look and feel on her wedding day! I am sure I could keep typing all night but I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

This was a really great moment. He was just telling his mom how great she looked! So sweet!

I really wanted to get a picture of the bride and the groom through the peephole but we parted ways before they came back to the hotel. So instead I will call this “groomsman with drink in hallway”.

I cannot tell you how many times I heard someone say, there has to be a joke here somewhere. We really just needed a minister and a bar and there probably would have been a great joke!

Perfect timing! I caught someone else’s flash just as Megan was going under the Limbo stick!

Congratulations Megan & Jason!! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. I really enjoyed myself. You are both very lucky to have found each other. I want to thank the Culos and Hakerem families as well for being so generous this weekend. By the end of the weekend, I felt more like a part of the family than a photographer. And finally, thank you Bryan for asking me to second shoot this wedding with you!
