A few weeks ago I took some pictures for the folks over at House of Thaller for their new website. Here are a few of my favorites. Warning: you may feel extremely hungry after this post;)

Two weeks ago I met up with the Hightower family for a few family shots. It was freezing outside but we made it through the shoot with only a few tears which quickly disappeared once I was given…I mean the kids were given lollipops;) Thank you Hightower family for braving the cold and spending your morning with me. Most of the images I took were more formal so most of these are the more candid shots I grabbed. Enjoy!
Graham.
John Hampton.
Graham and John Hampton decided to start modeling for me, which was absolutely hilarious since the other children wanted nothing to do with me.
Hartley. The only girl in the mix.
Jackson.
Sam. This little guy wouldn’t smile for me until the every end of the shoot.
All the boys.

5 Fruitcakes!
Behold our 2009 Holiday Card. I figured everyone could use a little laughter this holiday season…at our expense of course:) It took us two attempts to get this shot, numerous lollipops and my poor husband had to sacrifice his beloved beard for the picture…thanks dear:) It was tough coming up with another fun idea to match last year’s card (http://5rings.wordpress.com/2008/12/21/which-list-will-you-be-on-this-year/) but hopefully we succeeded.
Merry Christmas!!
This would have been the picture but I cropped it too close in camera…oops!
This was our first attempt. We didn’t love it.

Yesterday, I met Stephanie and David in downtown Maryville for an early morning engagement session. These two were a lot of fun to photograph, they are very at ease with each other and they were willing to do anything I asked of them, which you all know I love. Once we finished up downtown we headed over to the Greenbelt for a few quick shots in the leaves.
Congratulations on your engagement Stephanie and David!! I cannot wait to photograph your wedding next month!

Two weeks ago, I headed over to Townsend to take some family pictures of Griffin and all of his cousins. Most of the pictures were pretty formal, so here are a few of the not so formal shots I was able to grab.

You may remember Griffin from earlier posts. Click here and here to view. He is my sun flare baby and I got to see this little guy make his grand entrance into the world! I can’t believe he is already 6 months old!!

Pretty Chevy:)

Handsome Thorn.

Super sweet Michael.

Cutest Averie.

Chevy and Thorn tried to act shy… that lasted about a minute. haha

ATV momma! Averie was ready to hit the road on this thing!

Griffin the grabber.

I love Michael’s face in this next shot.

A few weekends ago, I headed over to Anna & Brody’s for an early morning photo session. These two are absolutely adorable and I thoroughly enjoyed spending my morning at their house looking for fun places to shoot. Anna, Brody, Mom and Dad thanks for spending your Sunday morning with me!

After this shot Anna took a little modeling break. So, here are a few of her very cute brother Brody.

Brody telling me he is 3 :)

I love her face in this one. ha!

Last weekend, I met up with Caroline & Tripp for an early morning engagement session at RT Lodge in Maryville. We had a great time wandering around the property looking for fun places to shoot and we even stumbled upon a photography club having an early morning photo session…of course I invited them to join in on our fun! Sorry Caroline & Tripp- hopefully I didn’t embarrass you too much! Congratulations on your engagement and I cannot wait to shoot your wedding in May! Enjoy!

We had the most beautiful light all morning…and you know I love sun flare! I could have stayed in this spot all morning!!

Laura & Gene- Boom, Boom, POW!

When I met Laura & Gene last May at Shanna’s birthday party I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. These two were (and still are) completely outrageous!! I could not keep my camera away from them, they were explosive!! You never knew what was coming next and their wedding last week was no different. They had so many surprises for their guests, from Laura’s arrival to the ceremony via tractor to the hand grenade she had under her dress for the surprise garter toss. This wedding was truly unique and I am so happy they asked me to document it. Congratulations to Laura & Gene…wishing you two a lifetime of happiness!
A HUGE thank you to The Blonde Photographer, Jaime Windon and Quinn Peyser of Quinnep Doodles for joining me at this wedding.

Laura’s dad had a little surprise for the bride and groom!

After the ceremony we headed down to the vineyard for a few pictures.

After the vineyard, we headed back up to the tent to party with the guests. When we got back to the tent Laura hopped up on stage and sang a song to Gene.
Gene pulling a grenade out from under Laura’s dress. I LOVE his face.

After the cake cutting, Laura did a quick wardrobe change and she and Gene did a little swing dancing…which was amazing!

After the fun ended and the rest of us headed home, Laura & Gene packed up and headed out the door for a 2 week adventure in Italy (they are still there). I hope you two are having a fantastic time!!

The End.
