Last weekend, I made my way back up to Maryland to join the rest of the fabulous gals that make up the blonde creative (Jaime Windon, Mk McKenna, & Quinn Peyser) to help photograph Honfest 2009! What is Honfest, you ask? HonFest is a local tradition in Baltimore. A Bawlmer (Baltimore for those of you that do not live in Maryland) term of endearment, Hon, short for Honey, embodies the warmth and affection bestowed upon our neighbors and visitors alike by historic working-women of Baltimore. HonFest is an annual celebration in honor of these women. The festival was created by Denise Whiting, owner of Cafe Hon and is definitely a highly anticipated event in the Hampden neighborhood in Bawlmer. People came from all over to attend this event, myself included! Here are a few of the images I was able to capture. Most of these are from the first day during the Lil Miss Hon and the Miss Honettes competitions!

Last Sunday morning I got to hang out with 3 very fun kids – Blakely, Skylar, & Zack. We headed over to the park about 9:30am to hang out, play and get some pictures but it was freezing outside! The kids still did a great job! All three of them are absolutely adorable and have very fun and different personalities! We eventually ended up back at their house to work on puzzles, jump on theirs beds and play dress up! Here are a few of my favorites from the day… I took me a long time to narrow down my favorites… there were so many.  Thank you for spending your morning with me Leigh, Joe, Blakely, Skylar and Zack!!

Zack was not happy…so we decided to work with his frown. haha.

I had to sneak in a cute one of mom and dad :)

We played 30 faces of Blakey and she really had 30 different faces. This one is my favorite:)

We also did 30 different faces of Skylar. She had 30 different poses but almost the same face in each:) haha.

SUPER HEROES!!!

I had everyone show me how old they are on their hands.

I had to help Zack a little:)
