Food! A sneak peek.

From my shoot today. More to come…

Love is all around you…

Happy Valentine’s Day to those of you that celebrate it.

UPDATE: My knee is healing up nicely. I should be back in action in just a few more weeks. Thank you all for the well wishes!

Laying Low…

Hello all!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my blog will probably be pretty slow this month as I just had knee surgery last Wednesday and will be taking most of this month off to recover. I hope to use this time off to get caught up on editing, get some new sample albums cooking and I am in the process of rebranding a little bit….so keep an eye out for a new logo and some changes to the blog. Thank you all for your well wishes while I heal. I can’t wait to get back out and start shooting again!

Trish & Tal

Two weeks ago, I headed back up north to shoot Trish & Tal’s wedding at the beautiful Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, VA. It was freezing outside and rainy but Trish and Tal didn’t let that ruin one minute of their wedding day. Thank you Trish and Tal for asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was an honor to shoot your wedding!! And a huge thank you to my favorite Blonde Photographer, Jaime Windon, for shooting this wedding with me!

Serious Trish.

Not so serious Trish.

Trish & Tal – Sneak Peek

Evy – 1 Year.

Last weekend, I headed over to Evy’s house to take her 1 year portraits. Her birthday party was the day before and as luck would have it, her mother saved 1 cupcake…which was all we needed to get some fun shots of this little cutie. Happy Birthday Evy!!

Armpit tickling always makes for a good laugh:)

She’s thinking about it…

…ok give it to me!

After cupcake time was over, we headed upstairs for some teddy bear and story time.

Soon to be followed by naptime:)

After Evy went down for her nap, I grabbed a few shots of mom and dad:)

Fiona & Joe.

On new years eve, I made the trip down to Atlanta to photograph my final wedding of 2009 at the Druid Hills Golf Club. I was so excited to meet Fiona & Joe and their wedding was as amazing as I expected…from ¬†Scottish traditions to gorgeous decor and a fabulous party, I can’t imagine a better way to ring in the new year! Congratulations Fiona & Joe!!
